the two front coulter blade discs which cut a
furrow on each side of the plastic mulch. The
mulch lifting unit has three parts – 1.) the vertical
leg which rides in the furrow; 2.) the cutting
wings that “reach” under the plastic and 3.) the
lifting rods which raise up each edge of the
plastic. With both sides lifted and the soil
loosened, the mulch and soil can dry out, to be
picked up later and loaded on a wagon.
The mulch Digger/Lifter can loosen one to two
acres per hour depending on conditions. You
can be relieved of the slow back breaking plastic
